Recycling made “cooler”

Recycling isn’t such a rocket science. It’s a simple way of making use of an item you were about to trash. In Nigeria, we have a recycling culture which dates back to our ancestors. Majorly because we needed to make good use of the little we had. These days that culture is gradually vanishing for a lifestyle of  ” all things disposable ”.

I found some great photos of items that have been recycled or UP-CYCLED,(But sincerely, for me, some of these methods are rocket science biko)

See how this old type-writer has been UP-CYCLED.http://wp.me/pT3YB-ad

I may not be able to up-cycle electronics, but if you can, please do. Remember to be careful while handling these electronic materials. Could be toxic.

Here are simpler ones. These I can handle pretty easily. Recycling could be fun if you love to create things. http://greenlifegirl.wordpress.com/
